Ingredients

Main Ingredients:

  • 1 jar Whisktaker Original Curry Sauce
  • 500g shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 1 cup peas
  • 1/2 cup coconut milk (optional, for extra creaminess)
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish
  • 1 lime, halved

For the Rice Side:

  • 1 cup white rice
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions:

Shrimp Curry Preparation:

  1. Heat the sesame oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onions and sauté until soft, about 3 minutes.
  2. Add the bell pepper, carrot, and peas. Stir-fry for 5 minutes until the vegetables are slightly tender.
  3. Pour in the Whisktaker Original Curry Sauce and coconut milk (if using) and stir well. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Add the shrimp and cook for 3-4 minutes until they turn pink and are cooked through.
  5. Squeeze in half a lime and stir. Remove from heat and garnish with fresh cilantro.

How to Make Fluffy White Rice:

  1. Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  2. In a pot, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Add the rice and salt.
  3. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15-18 minutes until the water is absorbed.
  4. Fluff the rice with a fork before serving.
